Applications:

  • Vehicle Profiling (In-Bay Automatic/Rollover):  Accurately determines vehicle front and back bumper position. Allows gantry to travel minimal distance to ensure a quick, close wash. Helps prevent vehicle damage. Most powerful "burn-thru" sensor, without requiring an external amplifier.
  • Entry/Exit Doors (In-Bay Automatic/Rollover and Conveyorized Tunnel): Verifies that a vehicle has either entered or exited the car wash. Prevents doors from closing on the vehicle. Dual sensors may be used: one inside and one outside.
  • Soap and Rinse Activation (Conveyorized Tunnel): Detects front of vehicle and triggers soap/foam jets and triggers rinse cycle. Remains active while vehicle is blocking the sensor.
  • Dryer Activation (Conveyorized Tunnel): Triggers dryers to turn on and off. May control dryer distance from vehicle.
