Side Mounted Box for CryptoTap Plus Unit

The Laurel 399-85-TAP Side Mount Box is used to mount a CryptoTap Plus Contactless Reader when you don't have enough room on your meter box or vacuum faceplate. Bidirectional design enables mounting on either the left or right side of the coin box. The pre-cut holes allow you to add the button above OR below the tap unit. Made of tough 16-gauge stainless steel with tubular lock for security.

Please note that the CryptoTap Plus is NOT included with this side mount box.

• Designed for use with CryptoPay CryptoTap Plus units
• 16-guage stainless steel construction
• Left or right bidirectional mounting ability
• Button can be installed above OR below the tap unit
• Dimensions: 5 3/8" height x 3 5/16" width x 3 5/16" depth
• This box is only for the CryptoTap Plus - not compatible with the regular CryptoTap device

Installation

• Locate Side Mount Box and mark the side of your surface for box mounting.
• Drill your choice of holes in mounting surface (box has 1/4" diameter holes).
• Drill or knock out a wire clearance hole in the mounting surface to allow component wires into your meter box.
• Complete wire connections per your equipment and CryptoTap Plus instructions.
• We suggest a small bead of silicone caulk at the top surface corners to stop water intrusion.
• The box is not designed to be waterproof, aim to protect wire connections.
